National Honor Society
North Creek High School
Scholarship is a commitment to learning. Members of the National Honor Society must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 GPA or higher.
Scholarship
Members of the National Honor Society uphold the principles of morality and ethics. They are cooperative, they demonstrate high standards of honesty and reliability.
Character
Members of the National Honor Society are leaders. They contribute ideas and they exemplify positive attitudes about life. A leader strives to train and help others reach their common goals of success.
Leadership
Members of the National Honor Society voluntarily contribute to their school and community, without monetary compensation and with a positive, courteous, and enthusiastic spirit.
Service
National Honor Society (NHS) is a prestigious nationally-recognized organization based on academics, community service, leadership, and character. North Creek High School’s chapter is made up of students from a range of backgrounds who share their gifts with organizations throughout the greater Seattle area. Membership in NHS not only offers a way to benefit the community, it enriches a student’s resume and college application.

RETURNING MEMBERS
Application Requirements
Returning members must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 to remain in good standing. Members are required to submit a screenshot of their transcript or updated cumulative GPA on StudentVUE.

Required GPA: at least 3.5
Returning members are expected to complete a total of 30 service hours during their membership year, which includes participation in a mandatory service project organized by our chapter. In the event that a returning member misses the mandatory service project (2023 Blanket Drive), they must complete a makeup project to fulfill this requirement.

Presidential Volunteer Service Award
Have you served over 100+ hours from May 2023 to April 2024? You may be eligible for the Presidential Volunteer Service Award. Find out more information below on eligibility. Students who serve more than 100 hours will have the option to be submitted for this award.
